Microscoft IE 7 and iPath SSL mode
Microsoft has changed again its Internet Explorer. Version 7 does not recognise by default the SSL certificate used by iPath. If you get teh following message when you want to loging and if you do not want to say "proceed anyway" every time, pleasye read below

Installing the root certificate from CaCert
Our iPath server is secured by a SSL certificate issued from cacert.org. When you install the CAcert root certificate and trust it to identify our server certificate permanently, you will no longer be asked above question:STEP 1: goto the following site http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3 and follow the link to install the root certificate on Internet Explorer

When you do this for the first time, IE7 might block the ActiveX element (written by Microscoft!!!) to install the certificate. If you get such a message below the address line in IE7, clik on the yellow bar and select "allow ActiveX".

Now you will be asked, if you want to install the root certificate and if you want to trust it. Click yes twice and now you can login on iPath with no problem.
for questions, please just contact us.
